I am currently seeking a Freelance Machine Learning Engineer to join a DevOps-oriented, product-driven team building an AWS-based platform. Your role is to support the creation of infrastructure and tools that enable scalable and governed machine learning operations.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design and implementation of MLOps tooling on AWS
- Coach and mentor a team of eager, growth-minded MLOps engineers
- Use AWS CDK (TypeScript) to manage infrastructure as code (must have experience)
- Build self-service capabilities for model deployment, tracking, and governance
- Collaborate with users to gather feedback and continuously improve the platform
- Help establish AI governance and performance monitoring best practices
You’ll Thrive If You Have
- Deep expertise in AWS services: Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SageMaker, API Gateway
- Strong skills in TypeScript, serverless architectures, and CI/CD automation
- Experience with AI/ML workflows (especially using SageMaker)
- Experience with ML pipelines, experiment tracking, model versioning
- Knowledge of AWS security and containerization (Docker, ECR)
- Background in building governed AI/ML platforms
